Local design studio and manufacturer Plastplan commissioned this Ice Scraper, called Skafa, for their collaboration with the Íslenska Gámafélagið.
Plastplan specialize in designing and manufacturing products with locally sourced recycled plastics. They partner up with local companies and design and manufacture goods from their plastic waste.
The Ice Scraper is injection moulded, it was a fun challenge to design the desired form inside of the constraints applied to the injection moulding process.
Exhibited at the VITRA Design Museum as part of the Plastic: Remaking Our World exhibition.
